    You guys who bought into Verner saying "I don't need a huge deal" are all a bunch of suckers.

    Like I've said all along he'll get $9-10mil a year. That's too much. Grimes and Shields both sealed the deal for Verner.

    Well, I'll quote myself before someone else does...

    I was way off, but I really thought all the CB deals would get Verner a similar deal.

    I would've been perfectly fine giving him that 4 year/$26.5mil deal. Painful to lose him like that.
