I can see a fan being indifferent or not watching the games when their team sucks but to cheer for a loss just for a higher draft pick is pathetic and childish.

    Go find another team!

Teams that typically pick late have drafted better than teams that always get a high pick.

Scarecrow is right in 05 and 06 we would have been better off picking 32nd than where we picked.

The difference in 1 draft spot is getting Derrick Morgan vs. Jason Pierre-Paul. This past year we would have picked 13th instead of 20th. We could have had a pass rusher like Melvin Ingram (not that I didn't like the Wright pick).

    CORRELATION DOES NOT EQUAL CAUSATION!!!!!!

Maybe they "draft better" because they have a great team already, and their rookies don't get exposed as easily.

Look at the Colts! They looked like they picked well for the entire decade, until Manning started going down, then it all fell apart, and they were exposed. Addai and many of their 1st rounders and high picks were busts, but having manning on team protected them.

If the Colts hadn't had that #1 pick in 1998, they would have relocated by now! I can't find a better example of why a high pick is better than a low pick.

You have to be crazy to think a top 10 pick is better than a top 2 or 3.
