Maybe this won't be so bad. If you take a peek at the Brown's boards, their fans are split. Some are pissed, others are rejoicing like we were when Amano was cut. http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=149&f=1547&t=11969071&p=1

Please be a bust. Our backyard, smash mouth D is built to stop the run anyway.

Totally agree. While this does signal that the Browns are effectively giving up on the season (not that they were going anywhere anyway), at the end of the day they're picking up a 1st round pick for a running back... the most easily replaceable position on any offense. That's pretty huge in today's NFL. It's not like we're talking about CJ after the 2K season or something like that either. They just a got a 1st round pick for a 3.5ypc RB. And a 3.5ypc RB who is injury-prone at that.*

And from their perspective, they are now in position to take their pick of franchise QBs in next year's draft. They may be picking 1st overall anyway. But if not, they certainly have the ammo to move up now.

*Even though I'm not overly impressed with Richardson in general, this most definitely does suck for the Titans. He's a pretty significant upgrade over what the Colts had, and he certainly has a nose for the end zone. On the bright side, the Colts won't have a 1st next year.

Richardson is better off in Indy. What a douche the owner is tweeting out that there is a trade and not letting his team officials take care of business. Drather have Bud!
