I really don't see the uncharismatic? I think Mariota has charisma and is easily likeable. At the end of the day he is a rookie though and if he isnt carrying someone's bags he should be thankful.

 

At least half the time he's carrying the offense.
Asking him to carry someones bags too, would be a little over the top.

 

Some people just aren't "rah rah,jump up and down" type of people. Is it a little strange that a competitive person like a professional athlete isn't? Yes, a little. But it doesn't mean he isn't excited and doesn't care. He just expresses that differently.

I really don't care. He can walk around like a zombie and take a nap after a TD as long as he keeps playing well. Much better to be the humble guy he is than a cocky ***** like a lot of players.

I didn't get to watch this game because I had vip tickets to the panthers packers game. But I went back and watched the entire game on gamepass it just showed him getting jumped.

 

I agree...check Tim Duncan, one of the greatest players of all time - very low key
Kawhi Leonard, an up and coming NBA star is even quieter than Duncan!

Yeah, I don't care about his "lack" of enthusiasm at all lol

 

This was the best thing I learned about MM during the draft.



Something to be said about athletes who are well grounded and not huge social media whores imo.
