    Houston Texans
Running back Chris Taylor (quad) and tight end Mark Bruner (hamstring) are out. Safety Will Demps (hamstring) is doubtful. The Texans will put together some combination of Nick Ferguson, Brandon Harrison and Eugene Wilson to patch things together. Hardly ideal against Peyton Manning.
    Indianapolis Colts
No surprises: Safety Bob Sanders (ankle/ knee) remains out, as do tackle Dan Federkeil (shoulder) and receiver Roy Hall (knee).
    Jacksonville Jaguars
Cornerback Drayton Florence (groin) and safety Reggie Nelson (knee) are out, significantly thinning out the secondary.
William James played a lot last week when Rashean Mathis was hurt in the second quarter, and James did not fare well. Omare Lowe is next in line, but was brought in more for special teams than the seconday. Gerald Sensabaugh, normally a safety in the nickel package, will play for Nelson. Pierson Prioleau will come ini as a nickel safety, allowing Brian Williams to shift to nickelback.
Linebacker Justin Durant (groin) will return after two games out and could rotate a bit with Clint Ingram.
For the banged up Steelers, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (right shoulder) is questionable. He's been getting hammered and if he can't go or gets knocked out, it will create a huge storyline: backup Byron Leftwich came into the league as the seventh overall pick to the Jaguars. He was cut last summer when the team decided to go with David Garrard.
    Tennessee Titans
Receiver Justin Gage (knee) is the primary concern. Listed as doubtful, he'll be replaced in the starting lineup by Brandon Jones with Chris Davis taking over as No. 3 and rookie Lavelle Hawkins as the fourth wideout.
Gage has been steady when he's been in, but this will be his second missed game in five.
Reserve corner Reynaldo Hill (hamstring) is out.
The Titans will not face Baltimore defensive tackle Kelly Gregg (knee), safety Dawan Landry (neck) or corner Samari Rolle (neck).
