I'm in a mock draft, on a different site. Each poster picks their team and makes their picks. It just started on 2/7/10, so we haven't gotten far yet. Just wanted to share the results with you guys and I'll update it periodically.

    Here's the Draft:

    1st Round:

    5. Arizona - Von Miller, OLB, Texas A&M
    6. Cleveland - Marcell Dareus, DL, 'Bama
    7. San Francisco - Cam Newton, QB, Auburn
    8. Tennessee - Nick Fairley, DT, Auburn
    9. Dallas - Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska

    11. Houston - Aldon Smith, OLB, Missouri
    12. Minnesota - Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas
    13. Detroit - Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue
    14. St. Louis - Akeem Ayers, OLB, UCLA
    15. Miami - Mark Ingram, RB, 'Bama
    16. Jacksonville - Blaine Gabbert, QB, Mizzou
    17. New England - Cameron Jordan, DE, Cal

WOW....Fairley at 8 would be unreal...it'd take us about 2 seconds to make that pick....

Yeah that would be absolute dream. I don't think the other people in this mock are taking it very serious.

Really though, outside of Cam to San Fran I could make an argument for everyone of those picks.

I'm very curious to see if Locker slides to round 2 in this mock....I don't like him in round 1, but in round 2 he becomes very interesting in my opinion.

I disagree. Fairley has his flaws: dirty player, can be lazy, bad attitude, only played one year as a starter. He could fall, it would be a stretch but possible. I can see why teams would pass on him. I was surprised Dareus went before Fairley. But these guys are serious about the draft.

I'm very curious about the QBs in general, I think Gabbert will probably go to the Vikes, but who knows.

You're dead on about Fairley....that being said, I would LOVE to have him as a Titan. Dareus too for that matter..move Jones to DE and our line is set...

I agree...the thing is..I would rather have Locker, Ponder, Mallett in round 2 then Gabbert or Newton in round 1. There is so much defensive talent that will be on the board when we pick at 8, and with every QB in this draft being a project it just makes more sense.

Vikings guy took Mallett over Gabbert... I could see that happen. Mallett has a cannon, and Vikes WRs have speeed, deep ball city. Gabbert has a decent deep ball too, but not like Mallett.
