Well, I was hoping we'd trade down and take him later, but the way things worked out he might have been gone if we had done so.

Welcome to Tennessee Mr. Locker! You are joining a team with a dynamic running back, and baring he stays out of prison, a young, extremely talented WR.

I'm happy, and I'm glad I get to have a QB to dislike in Gabbert. He seems unlikable enough. They are going to be compared very closely.

I think it would be a miracle for Ayers to be there, but he would be a great value pick.

Not sure how i'm the official Locker hater on gotitans now. I would have been fine with him in the 2nd rd. I just don't think he is worth that high a pick. Gabbert has issues of his own and when Gruden read his comp % for passes beyond 10 yards and for passes in the red zone i didn't want him.

Our desperation to have a QB forced our hand here. Now Mike Munchak's job is dependent on Jake Locker's arm. If Locker goes bust we will be hiring a new GM and a new HC in a few years.

Ponder at 12 was an even bigger reach. And the Falcons are idiots to give up that much for one WR.

This is what people on this board are missing big time about locker. If a guy was never great in college, how many times was he great at the highest level? Locker is terrible and i feel comfortable saying that. I've followed the franchise since 78 and this is by far the worse 1st rd pick since i've been watching.

Billick said something on nfl radio about making excuses for a player. He said its what got him fired in regards to boller. I'm hear to say, muchak will have the titans picking top 3 next season. He fired the oc who was better than the one he has now. He let the d-line coach go who turned busts into pro bowlers. Mark it down, he will be done in 3 years and the titans will be drafting another qb.
