With our titans so far this season. Don't get me wrong I hate that we lost but we look so much better this season so far. I was waiting the entire game for the titans to fold but the defense looked night and day better then last years D. My only concern is locker and verner. I would love to see Tommie start. If locker doesn't get it together I'd go in a different direction.

    Thoughts??

Verner has been good so far, I wouldnt pull him for Campbell. Locker is iffy but so is his pass protection.

If youre questioning either player youre looking at the wrong players.

Im looking at Warmack, Turner, and Britt, and maybe Wright.
    titanbuoy high fives this.

i like verner, think he does a preety good job. Locker has a lot of learning to do but he can improve. I am more upset with Britt, I expected a lot more from him this year. I understand the injuries but that is in the past and I have seen other players recover from injury and he needs to perform, no excuses this year!

Don't want to start Tommie. Warmack will be a good player barring injury. He didn't have a good game today really but he is a rookie and the Texan's D line is really solid. I think it's only fair to cut him some slack.

Not sold on Locker at this point but I guess we'll see. I am overall encouraged by the defense, but still disappointed that they couldn't protect an 8 pt. lead with less than 3 minutes remaining in regulation. I understand it was the Texans, but they still need more consistency. Of course the offense only needed about one or two more first downs to seal it as well so there is plenty of blame to go around.

Compared to the past season though, this defense looks much much better so I can't complain too much. We need the offense to step up more. Moral of the story.. Improved but still need to get better in every facet of the game..

Why in the holy hell would you want Campbell to start right now especially after Verner has been balling the past two weeks?!

Verner has been much more impressive than McCourty 2 weeks into the season. Hopkins roasted Jason today and Vern did a terrific job on Andre, IMO
Bonky, nbtoppers2, Scarecrow and 2 others high five this.

Are you series!? Verner!? The guy that was ranked #1 corner last week and the guy that played very good today making a big play like he always does. Are you just wanting Campbell to play because of his size and speed? As much as I would want Campbell to play because of his size and speed, I won't take Verner out as he has been one of the most consistent DBs we have since he was drafted and he has a knack for making plays.

Verner played very good. Idk why your concern has Verner in it at all....

Campbell should have gotten some reps today guarding the big Texan receivers
