I'm down to two quarterbacks. Mallet and Stanzi. Thoughts?

First duece listed Stanzi as the best QB in this draft.

Then he said that Ponder is by far the best QB.

    Now he says this..

"He is better than every one of these other QBs outside of Ponder and maybe Locker."

    That's actually pretty uncanny...

I don't even really like Cam but I'm not dumb enough to say the guy isn't clutch he had like 3-4 fourth quarter comebacks and won a national championship. You call Stanzi clutch but not Cam. This after the Kaepernick thread, how do people take you seriously.

You posted one game where he made a play late in the game. Where are your stats to back up his 4th quarter heroics?

I can understand people having different opinions on Mallett and Stanzi.
Some of you do not care for Stanzi and do not see him having success at the next level.

Some of you are turned away by Mallett's off the field problems and character issues.
These issues can be debated here and maybe we can all find some common ground eventually.

In order for intelligent discussion to continue the name Cam Newton should not be brought up. In my short time at gotitans.com I have realized that this forum is filled with smart and well informed fans. When people bring up SCam it just chips away at their credibility.

    "Cam Newton is clutch"
"Cam will adjust to the pro game"
"Cam should be the number one pick"
"I hope Cam falls to number eight"

When people say things like this it hurts all of us. Many times when I read stuff like this I assume someone is just drunk and pounding wildly on their keyboard. Please keep all talk of one year wonder, spread option running wanna be quarterbacks to a minimum.
Remember the real tragedy is that next Thursday some unlucky franchise will set themselves back 5 to 10 years by pulling the trigger on one of the most overrated lame duck quarterbacks I have ever seen.

Okay so I'm officially off the Cam Newton bandwagon, wasn't ever really holding on too tight, just thought the upside outweighed the inexperience, but I'm now seeing it doesn't. I only hope to God that Carolina or Buffalo is dumb enough to pull the trigger on Cam so that we can't have a chance to mess up. Locker was always my first QB choice, but now both Stanzi and Mallett are above Newton. And for the record, I think very little of Ryan Mallett.

I brought him up to prove a point. I don't get where your going with this. He is a QB in the 2011 draft and we need a QB his name therefore will be brought up. This doesn't mean I'm in favor of drafting him but you can't ban people from bringing up Cam Newton because you don't like him. Hurts all of us? What?

I hate Cam Newton but yeah he's pretty clutch, more than Stanzi anyway.

Jon Gruden just said that Newton was the best player in the draft so i guess he is not informed enough to post here. Neither is Warren Moon or George Whitfield.

It could be BS but both Ron Rivera and Marvin Lewis said that Cam was a worthy 1st rd pick for their teams.

What this whole Cam Newton debate means is that if he becomes a star NFL QB you can pack your bags and go elsewhere.

If Cam Newton is not clutch then i don't know who in the f**k is. What idiot truck would somebody have to fall off of not to know at least that much?
