How can you fault Cutler for not making the playoffs? He played the last 5 games of the season, that's it.
And yes, he played better than Young. Pretty simple. If you care about efficiency, it's not arguable.

probably because they lost to one of the worst teams in the league at home when all they needed was a win to get in?

Cutler wasn't very good coming out of the shoot but Denver knew Plummer wasn't going to get it done. By the way, Cutler ended up with an 88 passing rating and 9 TDs to 5 ints last year (59 completion %). I'd say the kid looks like he is going to be pretty good and now he has Travis Henry running the ball for him.

I'm not saying Cutler won't be good, but he is not in the top echelon after 5 games.

Cutler threw for 230 yards that game, 1 TD and 1 int, 65.6%. I wouldn't blame Cutler for that loss. Gore ran for 153 yards on the Denver defense.

Young lost 4 of his first 6 games and he wasn't exactly Dan Marino throwing the ball and he hadn't broken out yet as a runner either.

    It's always on the QB.

other then telling me the obvious, what is your point?

  9. I think we're all looking too much into 'the plan', if anything its a long term development project...
