If you could draft anyone this year who would it be???

Yea I know but there are these types that get used in always blitz schemes. The guy the steelers drafted last year is only a blitz guy. Dude from Alabama from last year is the same way.

 

Demarcus Ware was used the same way.

 

Jarvis Jones? He had one sack last year....

Yea, I just think guys like him are the exception and not the standard. I'd also credit it to Ware's work ethic, something Clowney has question marks on.

 

What I am essentially trying to say is, someone like Clowney, you have to put him in a situation to succeed. Where as a guy like Mack, is probably going to succeed in just about any system. Clowney doesn't seem to have the maturity or work ethic to excel in a system he isn't used to.

 

Use his size and speed to make tons of disruptive plays?

There are plenty of big 3-4 OLB guys that are big time pass rushers. Tamba Hali would be my model.

If you don't like him because of his supposed work ethic issues, that's a different story.

edit: I also don't think he is a pure pass rusher. If you really watch him, he is a versatile player.
