No, that would be next year. Year 3 is year 3 of the 'project'...next year would be the blow-up or blow-out year.

I voted Jackson for the dazzling return game. Second I would have to say Thomas for the ridiculous physique and the strong character and then Sweed for the past experience. Honestly if Thomas and Jackson aren't available I would have to say BPA in the 1st.

I think Thomas fits Dinger's scheme the best, size and speed and he brings the added bonus of being a solid KR guy. Still, I'm not sure any of these guys is a big upgrade over what we have now (Thomas reminds me of a young McCareins) or over what we could get in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Sweed is the only WR worthy of a 1st round pick IMO but I'm afraid the Eagles will grab him before us.

I'd like to see us pick up Felix Jones (if the cowpukes don't) and then package our 2nd round and 4th's to move up and grab Jackson or Thomas early(ier) in the second round and take a DT with our 3rd.

That is such a ridiculously ideal situation I got chills thinking about it. If we somehow manage to get Felix Jones, Desean Jackson AND a third round D Tackle I will kiss the ground upon which Reinfeld walks. :))

Only problem here is that that is never going to happen. :irked:

Hardy just seems like the guy we'll go after. I say no to Sweed. Ok with Thomas, Kelly, Manningham, Jackson.

I'm favoring DeSean Jackson the more I see of him. Dude is FAST.

Sweed. Jackson would help in the return game but I think WR is more important. Young isn't accurate enough to hit a fast moving 170 pound WR...he'd get blown up trying to make catches on less than accurate throws. Besides Carr will upgrade the return game.
