    Alright I know there are a lot of Fisher hate threads out there right now but I wanted to ask a serious question with this one. Not just bash the guy.

    Okay, so with the loss today we are behind in the division yet again. We have losses to the likes of Denver, Miami and San Diego. We have a 2-4 conference record (not good in regards to our playoff hopes). It's looking like we are probably going to have to take the division to make the playoffs. I'm not going to lose hope just yet but looking at our upcoming schedule we have a tough road ahead, to say the least.

    Here's my question:
    IF we miss the playoffs this season would you want Fisher to remain our HC next season?

    Missing the playoffs would make it 7 years since our last playoff win. And it would mean only 2 playoff appearances in those 7 years. I really don't intend for this thread to be a Fisher bashing thread. Or a thread blaming him for today's loss. I'm just curious as to whether or not missing the playoffs again this year would change some of the Fisher-supporters opinions of the guy and the state of the franchise....

    Nope. I may even take it further and say that if we don't win a playoff game, he needs to be gone.

    But (not to sound heartless), Bud doesn't have much time left. Would a change benefit us in that short period of time?

    No he needs to go... seems like perfect timing with the Dallas job up for grabs.

    I just hope bud realizes that a shake-up is his only chance at a SB because it is becoming quite apparent JF isn't going to get him one.

    I say NO.

    Having Fisher this long and no concrete results is like eating Ramen Noodles everyday.

    Maybe he signed a 20 year contract we don't know about.

    I think you could just remove "if we don't make the playoffs" and it'd still be the same. Can we just change things ONCE around here? Christ.

    If we miss the playoffs losing games like we did today, then yes he should be gone. If we see some faith in VY, more play from our younger talent, and just a general new direction for this team than no.
