What this means is the Titan D will be taught how too stop it but be incapable of executing that D. Meanwhile on the O side of the ball there will not even be an option to play this way due too the entire concept being written off prior too TC.

While teams will be better prepared for the pistol, I don't think it's a wildcard 2.0, you can do more out of pistol.

A lot of people (like some of the ones in this thread) seem to think that "pistol" is an entire offensive scheme and not just a formation.

It's just a formation, people.

If you're saying that you want the Titans to start incorporating read-option plays out of the pistol formation into their offense, then say that. Otherwise, you kind of sound like you don't know what you're talking about.

That wouldn't happen, if anything his sacks would go down. He'd have time to react instead of run backwards for help then fall down for big losses.
