Easy to see how the ancients would think they have angered the gods.

I'm not ready to buy the whole 'the worlds coming to an end in 2012', but stuff like this makes you wonder. Imagine what may happen if say two maybe three of the volcanoes erupt nearly at the same time. Their devastation could overlap each others blackening out the sun. Kind of creepy to think about.

    Eyjafjallajokull.

Was on Iceland a couple of weeks ago, but unfortunately there wasn't time in the program to get close to the volcano.

But we were walking on a small glacier that would be washed away, if Katla decides to erupt. Pretty nasty.

It is creepy but stuff like that doesn't last long.

Nature is amazing but I think people look into it wanting a reason to think the world will end or whatever agenda they want to push.

Is Iceland still a country? I heard some story that they went bankrupt.

They went bankrupt because Bjork went on hiatus.

Yes. But you can't make money exchange with Iceland kroner anywhere else but on Iceland. They're worth about as much as the old Italian lire :moon2:
