& Amano makes like 6 if I remember correctly.
He actually is making $4.3mil this year... still way too much.
Are we really this far under the cap? http://www.sportscity.com/nfl/salaries/tennessee-titans-salaries/
Yea actually we are, surprising isn't it?
My own personal info for 2013 shows our cap# will be $93,377,452
the cap is $121M next year
we're in good shape
What I am trying to drive home is t hat Chris Johnson's numbers only make Chris Johnson lOOk goOd.
He isnt efficient enough to help the team win. There is a reason he is 8th in the league in rushing yards, but tied at 23rd with Mathew Stafford in rushing TDs at 4. He has lost the same number of fumles.
Those yards are fantasy yards people. He is not a franchise player, and we can bu a quality back and a g,uy to spell him with money saved from cutting him or trading him during the offseason.
Well we've got the next best thing, and have had THE best thing in years past. CJ is not an issue. We need to start addressing issues instead of tearing apart a team already in rebuilding. On offense all we need is an offensive line and a refocused healthy WR core. Why get rid of your best playmaker in the run game when he's had a good year???
Let's trade away the fastest player in the NFL
If your scenario was true we should buy ourselves a Super Bowl next year. I'm sure Bud has the cash.
I'd do this in a heartbeat. Ray Rice would make this team better than CJ would, and is the best receiver out of the backfield. Which is what Locker needs, that security blanket when he's in the backfield running for his life.
But yeah, no way Ravens would do this. If they didn't have Torrey Smith, there might have been a slim chance though if we threw in a draft pick or something.
Would y'all do CJ for Matt Forte? That's a lot more reasonable.
Maybe Houston would be stupid enough to trade us Arian Foster since he's having a "down" year?
We hate running backs that have held out or complained about their contract, so no Matt Forte, Emmitt Smith, or Barry Sanders.
Like it matters.
