Minus the 80 yard run against the Bears second string defense, I don't think he's done "very well" against great defenses this year. The Texans (got torched by GB and NE, proving their defense isn't as "great" as people believe) and Dolphins (I guess they can be considered good?..) games are the only ones that come to mind when I think of him actually running well.

I think the point of this thread is, something discussed every year, is how CJ's running style doesn't really help out with what this team is trying to accomplish. He's always looking for the big run, so it's either that (as seen against the Jets) or a loss of however many yards. If he would just take the 3-5 yard gains instead of dancing around so much I'm sure fans would be more supportive of him. Just my two cents.

In the games where that happens, everyone is like, "Y U NO BREAKAWAY?" and all say he is slow and sucks.

There is no benefit in cutting CJ. So you think he sucks. Ok. Who is going to replace him? Exactly. So you think he costs too much money? Ok. The Titans WILL NOT spend the money they save cutting CJ. Period.

    STATS tonight:
CJ- 122 yarcs on 21 carries, 5.6 ypc., 1 td

    1 drive, 94 yard td

    Rest of game.
    20 carries, 28 yards, 1.4 ypc

Line didnt play all that badly. Not great, but not bad either(on plays where there wasnt a penalty)

If they played just to stop CJ, wouldnt see deep safeties on playaction.

You dont seem to get it, i took away ONE play.

You may live for the moment, some people care about the overall quality of our running game over an ent/ire 60 minutes. With a young QB, thats crucial, and the only time Locker got that was the Miami game

No I do get it. CJ needs a power back to help grind the clock and get the short yards.

We had a -5 yard play that was not his fault at all. An option play where Locker pitched the ball way too soon and CJ had no chance.
