i hate to be that guy but

    we beat 3-4 jacksonville. any win is a good win at this point but let's not get ahead of ourselves. jacksonville has 1 quality win, the houston texans. they're other two wins are us and st. louis. jacksonville lost to a bad seahawks team 41-0. they only beat st. louis by 3 points. enjoy the win but don't set yourselves up to be disappointed again.

    Hey, you can build off a win. we take this game and feel like we are clicking on all cylinders. We go to san fran and feel like they can't stop us and they don't. Confidence is huge so it's ok to be happy.

    Jax passing D is pretty sad yes, but the O'line did look good. Would liked to have seen Vince take some shots downfield but they didn't need that today.
    The D was aggressive today - sans the two Jone Drew runs the numbers would have been pretty nice. Special teams didn't blow it, which is about as big as any other factor in the win other than CJ...
    Team win. Bring some competition now.

    I don't think heimi opened up the full playbook for vince today because remember, VY and KC split reps this week. So we will prob see more next week with Vince working with the starters full time in practice. VY is actually pretty good at deep balls, it was his mid range throws that needed to be on target. So maybe next week we will see some more shots. Especially since 49ers defense is no laughing matter.

    I agree to a point, but as Fisher said there would be, there was a lot of change. Part of that change was getting healthy, some of it was a change in personnel, and some of it was a change in philosophy and playcalling (remember that jailbreak blitz on 3rd where Tulloch hammered Garrard?). All change is pointing toward the positive. Though we may now have an inflated idea of how good this team is because we just trampled a bad team, I still think we have much to be optimistic about.

    I know San Francisco is on a losing streak as of late but their still damn good. If we could beat them I'll be more sold on this defense and Young. Not that I think we can turn the season around to a winning record because I don't but as far as planning for next year, I'd rather not want to draft a QB but we still may have too.
