I am going to have a seriously hard time following this team if Griffin is still on the team next year.

As everyone knows, I am not one of the over reacting bandwagon guys or a guy that expects too much. I consider myself pretty reasonable, but I will not spend any more money on the Titans until that guy is gone and I may stop watching the games this year. I have had it with this guy, he is a complete waste of space and I would rather the Titans field 10 just to keep him off the field.

I may be hitting you up later in the week, are you pretty knowledgeable in the areas outside of ATL. Like Peachtree City or Newnan?

im not too big on college football other than my aggies... are there any top 15 pick safety in the draft this year?

David Amerson or Eric Reid, maybe. But the Titans are going to be picking in the top 10 and that's too high to be taking a safety unless he's a superstud. There don't appear to be any of those in this draft class.

Gotta get an impact player in round 1 (DL probably, but maybe OL or even LB) in the top 10 and then get the safety in round 2 or later, I would think.

It frightens me to say this, but I think Griffin might be back on the roster next year not only because he's expensive to cut, but also because the Titans are sooo thin at safety (hard to believe Babineaux or Johnson will be back).

Maybe the best approach for the Titans is to target safety in free agency. The names aren't great, but they would be an upgrade: William Moore, Jairus Byrd, LaRon Landry. Ed Reed is also a FA, but he will either retire or re-sign with Baltimore. No chance Reed comes to Nashville. Dashon Goldson is a FA, too, but he's a lock to re-sign in San Francisco.

Griffin should be gone, he flat out stinks, but I fear his contract will bring him back. He'll be gone in 2014 for sure though, cause thats when his big checks kick in. He's relativity cheap right now, only $2.5M
