It's only because of the offenses we've been playing and the progression of our OLB's. We're still not getting enough pressure with our front 4, we have the worst Safeties in the NFL, and we continue to make horrible and dumb mistakes. I'm not blaming everything on Gray but most of the credit to the defense goes to the young guys maturing, not Gray's scheming.

I am firmly in the camp wanting to keep Gray. I think we are building a very good defense and for the past 6 weeks, Gray has kept us in the game with his defense. Our offense hasn't held up it' end of the bargain unfortunately.

He won me over when I saw the significant change between pressure packages used against Miami and the Colts and his very effective zone packages he ran against the Texans. I think he is growing into the role and knows his players well now.

No... Texas Tech interviewed him for the head coaching vacancy.

Before becoming our DC, he was the DB coach at Texas.

Easy now sailor, it's only the 3rd time "Greys amazing defense" has allowed the opponents less than 20 points. - And only 7th time (half of the games played) they've allowed less than 30 points.

They showed an interesting stat during the game. The Titans have allowed 130+ points in the first quarter. The second worst team had like 90.

After this season, Gray has got to go. You don't reward this defensive performance (this season) with continuing to keep their job.

I'd be ok if we could start from zero. Let's trash the franchise and start out as a new expansion team with the same name. New owner, new staff, new team. In 10 years we'll be in a better spot than we are today. Sure as hell can't be a whole lot worse off than the last 10 seasons.

The only reason the Texans failed to make a splash in the 1st ten years are
    A. The Colts
    B. David Carr

Not that it's a realistic option, but I can dream.

    Gray may stay.

He's been alright lately and we know Bud has backed off Munchak since firing Palmer.

I'm mad he's just now learning about this blitz thing. Coulda used that in September and October.
