Worst defense in the NFL with an offensive coaching staff that was probably too stubborn to go to Mannings style of play

With the Titans luck lately, Peyton would have been sacked by Wilfork last week and had his neck broken.

Tenn as a state loves him, and he loves Tenn. However, I am convinced that after one convo with Palmer, Peyton knew that he was not coming to us.

I'm sure our sh!++y OL and sorry excuse for a defense were also factors in his deciding against becoming a Titan.

He did not want to run the run and shoot! Make no mistake if peyton wanted to win he would have gone to SF. He wanted money and endorsements and that was Denver. He might have another ring or 2 if he hadn't always taken up so much cap space.

John Elway sold Peyton on joining the Bronco's looong before he ever even met with our coaches, he was just being nice to have the meetings.

Honestly I think that Peyton took everything from every team into account. SF was better built for him to win sooner but also had the pressure of winning it all since they were so close already. We are much further away from being a contender than SF. Denver when you look at it all is the perfect fit. Even if he was at 70% he'd still be a 200% better QB than Tebow was/is. Add in the solid OL and defense along with John Elway all on his nuts and it was an easy decision to make.

As far as we were concerned we just didn't offer enough outside of money to make it worth his while. He will always be a legend and a God in TN so his legacy won't hurt by not coming here. He wants to win, he wants to be paid and he wants to add to his HOF legacy. Coming here and breaking in half after a couple drives is not what he had in mind.

I know if Peyton was playing for us, we would have more than 23 points in 2 games.

Also, out time of possession would be helluva lot better...
