SUMMARY: Both sides say it'll get done yet it hasn't.

Despite Titans COO Steve Underwood saying it was a priority months ago, Coach Jeff Fisher doesn't have a long-term contract in place. Is it time to begin wondering whether he will be the coach of the Tennessee Titans beyond next season?

"We have conversations with Jeff about it from time to time and we expect to have a favorable resolution," Underwood said back in a May 26 Tennessean article.

Yet here we are a month later, a full six months since the end of the season, with Fisher trout fishing in Montana and training camp opening in less than a month. They're not exactly burning the midnight oil over at Baptist Sports Park to get a deal done, are they?

If it means Schwartz is gone, I have no problems with them never giving him a contract.

I'd hate to see Fisher leave but I would love to somehow get Bill Cowher.

I'll take WAIT for 5million please

    I like Jeff Fisher
I think he's one of the classiest coaches in any sport
but his approaches are antiquated and more and more decisions are questionable. throw in a big slice of Chief Red Hat, and we have a 3course serving of good luck with your new team coach

Now, if he can replace Schwartz and quit playing guys that suck, THEN I'll tune in to 5 more years of Fish. Right now, I'm just a little bored with it. Fans and teammates alike have lost interest. I'd welcome a wind of change

I let this year play out before we give fish a fat contract. The team struggles he's gone, we do well say 9-7 or better he can stay. Schwartz needs to be gone after this season no matter who our coach is.

for Schwartz to be gone, I'm afraid JEff would be too

if there were any other way, you'd figure he'd gone already
