OAKLAND, Calif. Titans rookie wide receiver Justin Hunter’s is known for his calm demeanor, but he lost his cool in the second quarter against the Raiders and was flagged for 15 yards for unnecessary roughness.

Hunter said he was retaliating to something Raiders cornerback Mike Jenkins did to him.

The rowdy crowd in O.co Coliseum had Hunter on blast as well.

“I heard a lot of words I can’t say after I got that penalty. I got called all kinds of names,” Hunter said of Raiders fans. “But after that final drive, they didn’t have too much to say.”

Lol. Hunter is the man. They were mad he made their team look like scrubs. He juked two DB's out of their jock strap on his TD catch.

    Classic refs...

Both players grabbing each other's facemasks; refs flag only Titans. K thanks.

Looked to me like Hunter was trying to get his hand out of the DBs facemask, looked like it was stuck.
But he stepped up today, played well and was reliable.

Hunter showed some speed on that TD. A lot of separation after the catch.

Britt should NEVER see the field as a Titan... I feel like had they been playing Hunter earlier and given him more downs, he'da done more good things than he already has..

I used to be (quite a long time ago) one of his biggest fans, but I'm beyond done with him at this point...

That guy is playing so bad, i'm not sure someone will even give him a chance. He was supposed to audition this year for a big contract, he'll be lucky to get anything...

If i were a betting man i would bet that this "fiery side" of justin is exactly the reason our DBs gave him hell in camp. I think they knew he had a short fuse and were teaching him to control it.

I am very excited about him and kendal. We could end up with one of the top 5 receiver tandems next year or the year after at the latest.
