Yeah. Offer him 9 million a year. Why not? Unless we know we're trading with the Eagles for multiple picKs. Then we can get a RT in the first couple rounds

 

I don't care for Bulaga as much as improving the defense. I think we should go O-line in the draft spend our money on defense first then use the rest on the line. We need to improve the line but getting an offensive lineman would not improve our team as much as getting a defensive end or linebacker

 

I would offer him a big contract and front load it.

 

I'd go as high as 5/40 with 20-25 million guaranteed and roster bonuses. We have the money and it's better than penny pinching on retreads like Michael Oher.

 

Pretty tough to score points if your QB spends half the game on his back or your RB is getting demolished as soon as he touches the ball. I'd say OLine is a pretty serious need.

 

This is where im at too. 8 mil a year for a premier rt is fair and about all id want to spend. I might go up to 10 mil a year, year one in a front loaded 5yr 40m deal.

 

I agree 100%! They need to sure up the line somehow someway...This is ridiculous that 3 years later and multiple draft picks/free agents that we still have a mess of an OL. It all starts in the trenches, so tighten them up and focus on the other missing pieces.

 

Yes, "fix" the oline and dline first. Then we should go after our other needs.

 

Bulaga re-signed for just under $7mil per year.

We could've topped that easily, but he made the right choice.
