Frankly, I believe the decision to roll with locker or not has already been made. We just get the news come the draft.

Good thread, I think if Locker doesn't end the season healthy or if he fails to be a top 5 AFC QB statistically then he will be gone. Rooting for him and expect to see greatness, but will not let likable get in the way of liable

Oh man blah blah blah. They spoke about all of the obvious points that we have discussed here about injuries and the team not picking up his fifth year option. Mortenson said he knows we are taking a QB but idk how he knows. Maybe he spoke with someone internally and yea I know we have spoken with many QBs but he said he knows. Then Kiper opened his big mouth and I have never wanted anyone to stop talking about my team more than him. He said we should take a QB late second or early third and then he goes on about how we should draft Logan Thomas WTF? Shut up Kiper. Teddy Bruschi made a few good points if we should reach for another QB in the first or build our team. Then he points out Watt and Quinn being taken later in the first round and how we missed on those guys. That's all hindsight though because if Locker was never hurt it may be a different song and dance. The only problem I had with Bruschi is that we are literally that QB position away from being a contender so do we keep trying to hit on playmakers or do we take the guy we think can put us over the top. I don't think the round matters if you think the guy will change the outcome of your season.

I am willing to give Jake two games. He plays 14 games, give me 9-10 wins and 10 picks or less. I dont get too hung up on yards, as some gameplans dictate that you wont throw for 300 yards. Protect the ball, make a few plays, get wins. Give me 14 games of that and I would be happy.

I think you'll know your answer after the first 2 rounds of the draft. If they take a QB, then that tells you they're not sold on JL. If they don't, they're going to roll with him this year. Clipboard Jesus is not an option barring injury IMO
