Titans should extend him now. Can't afford to lose him, that's how I look at it.

Titans have made too many questionable contract extensions - some good, some bad - but Verner looks like a good extension.

They both are playing excellent football right now. Like JCBrave pointed out this year we have flip-flopped our corners some and put McCourty on the #1 WR. That is how we played it against the Texans. Verner is stepping it up in his contract year. I hope he gets paid because he deserves it. TitansMVP made some good points about how his turnovers have not been luck. He has put himself in position to make the plays. If he isn't in the receivers back pocket then he doesn't get that 2nd INT. Keep up the great play Verner.

The picture I posted shows coverage snaps. Total snap count for 2012:

    Verner: 1,063
    McCourty: 1,144

Coverage snap count for '12: McCourty (628), Verner (578), Mouton (247), Sensabaugh (215), Campbell (47), and Wilson (2).

Well he is 6'0" runs a 4.3 40 with a 37-inch vertical, he should do well come the beginning of the calender year when contracts get given out.

Against the Jets, Verner stayed on the right side all game and McCourty on the left side. If they do switch, it is not very often. However, they both go up against the teams best WR every game.

How did this coaching staff think it was a good idea to have ATV compete with Tommie Campbell for a starting job?

Was ATV not a hard worker? Did not know he had that rep.
