The Texans may not win another game this season. They wont win a game in the playoffs. The only game left they have a shot at is next week against the Titans.

Foster can run all he wants between the 20's. But thats all that teams are going to give you because they have film on ole Yates now.

The defense... I think you are seeing they are better than last year, but not as good and you thinkdang sure arent the #1 D in the NFL.
But if you think the defense is fine after giving up yards and 22 points to the Colts then thats on you. A decent offense would have put up 30 points on that defense.

Yes you will .... Yes you will my friend.

I know you are just positive that there is no way the Titans come to Reliant and beat the mighty division winning Texans and they may not. But its going to be one heck of a game. If the Texans cant figure out how to throw the ball its going to be a loooong day. It all depends on what Titans team shows up.

If Locker starts the Texans lose.

I hope you understand now what I have been trying to tell you about your team. They just arent that good. The Texans arent at the start of some decade long dynasty. They are at the end of a 6 year run with an aging and breaking down AJ and an aging and may never be the same QB.

But just to be clear... my team isnt very good either. The Texans with Schaub was a slightly better team. But neither is better than average.

I've seen you say that the Texans 'won't do this' or 'will do that', and you've been wrong over and over again, so I will take the above post with a grain of salt. Now, if you said that it's not likely they win a playoff game, I would be inclined to agree with you, but then again the hate is strong with you so I wouldn't expect you to be objective.

Yeah, it might be a problem, depends on the game Yates has and if Kubiak has enough trust to let him throw the ball. If they play conservative like last night, chances are probably slim, but if Yates can throw and not throw picks, chances are better.

Quote ONE DAMN POST of mine where I said they were number one, ONE POST.... The Texans are a top 10 defense, only now that the offense is sputtering and giving teams short fields or not being able to sustain drives is the defense having some issues. Obviously, the defense isn't number one, I don't think I ever said they were in these forums and I have also expressed the same sentiment to fellow Texans fans, but they are a top 10 defense.

The defense gave up 19 pts to the Colts, the Colts have scored that many points against other defenses in the league... it happens. The problem last night was that the defense spent a lot of time on the field and Kareem Jackson was torched much like he was last year.... he's not a good corner. If the offense just controls the ball better the Colts don't get as many yards/points, hence it's on the offense. Just like against Carolina, the offense played terribly and turned the ball over giving Carolina short fields, and that's a Carolina team that's top 10 in the league in scoring.... they aren't a bad team and are only a stones throw away from being 8-6 instead of 5-9.

Look, I don't expect you to be objective, that's just not your MO, so I'm sure we will keep going around and around because ALMOST nothing is clear cut in the NFL, there are just too many ways to slice it.

Better to be 10-5 and win the division than not... wouldn't you agree?

Jackson, Allen, Joseph , Manning, Quin... they all got torched at one point of another. It wasnt all on Kareem Abdul Jackson.

So turnovers cost you the Carolina game? Not a bad offense? It was more that the Texans lost not that the Panthers won? Is that your excuse?

Panthers scored on drives of 80, 61, 48 and 26 yards. It wasnt all short fields. But go ahead with that if it makes you feel better.

If it makes you feel better about calling them an 8-6 team well.. go ahead with that excuse too. They arent. Their defense is atrocious.

Its not that Indy scored 19 on your defense. Its that your offense only scored 16 on that defense. Since the BYE week/ Schaubs injury the Texans have dropped to 17 points a game on offense. The defense has given up 16 PPG all year. The problem is the offense cant score. The defense is on the field more and will be giving up more yards and more points. The defense is wearing down.

The Texans had a good run. Its over. Enjoy the home playoff game. Next season will be much different with a division winners schedule and an improved AFC South.
