I know some people have issues with Kubrick's Shining and/or think it's overrated but it's one of my all-time favorites. From a villain standpoint though, Leatherface all day.

visited the hotel that the Shining was based off of, in Colorado, last fall.

It was also the hotel in Dumb and Dumber, when they drive up in the fancy red car.

I've been out to The Stanley as well. Pretty cool, historic buildings.
That little town it borders was weird though. Stopped some dudes from trying to lift some camera lens from my pack on that little riverwalk area.

Jack is a good villain, just bad luck to draw Leatherface straight off.

Jack pulled ahead. I'm pretty surprised.

We drove up to the hotel used for exterior shots in it... nice drive in Oregon.
