I, for one, am dying to see what this bi-week will do for the Titans.

If the Titans can come out against the Jags and show a lot of improvement in all aspects of the game, so much so that they manage to pull off a "convincing" win, I will know that most players and coaches should stay as they are. This, to me, will mean that we really are a good team, we just had something indefinable (Terrible Towel Curse?) going against us.

However, if we come out and look like the same craptastic team we have in the last 3-4 weeks there will be no choice but to jump on the bandwagon that is calling for Fisher, Collins, Cecil and most of the rest of the teams heads. In other words, if they :grrr::grrr::grrr::grrr: it up this next week it won't be a bi-week it will be a BYE Week for a lot of players and probably coaches.

For the record though, Vince Young sucks arse and I hope and pray he is never our QB.

BUT, is anyone else onboard about waiting to see what happens with the Jags game before they pass final judgment?

As great as it would be for Young to come in and do an Alex Smith, it's not likely to happen.
    a) He's not that good.
    b) Fisher is the coach.

it wasnt likely for vince to have run it in for a td agaisnt the texans in overtime for a td, it wasnt likely for vince to have over 200 yards passing and 200 yards throwing against usc, and it wasnt likely that vince would take over a terrible team in 2006 as a rookie and finish the season 8-8 but guess what? All these things happened!

You just bragged on an NFL quarterback in his 4th year in the league by

    1. Beating the Texans
    2. Winning a college game
    3. Not making the playoffs

If I told you tomorrow that a QB would throw for 716 yards in 1 GAME, and 11 TD's in another GAME, all during the SAME COLLEGE SEASON would you believe me? And, if I told you that really happened, would you believe that guy did NOTHING in the NFL. Well, about the same as another guy currently in the NFL with a very nice college resume that fans are STILL jocking for to start for their favorite team in the NFL.

The above actually happened in 1990 by David Klingler of Houston (no pun intended)
His NFL stats you ask? Who do these seem similar to?

    16 TD's / 22 INT's
    3964 yards
    65.1 QB rating

With a bar set so high, I can see how so many Titans fans are geared up for Vinny.
