HERO WARS RD2: Thor vs Batman

Frankly, I'm tired of Batman fanboys...

 

Batman

because his graphic novels are on point.

 

Better stories plus plot armor.

Batman could probably lift Mjolnir because plot armor.

 

Batman has "anti-Mjolnir spray" on his utility belt, because... plot armor.

 

Wtf is plot armor. I'll vote bats cuz arkham city. Plus Thor is almost lame as captain america and ironman. Snooze city on the Thor ironman finale

 

Godly supernatural powers Vs. a guy with a lot of money and modern technology. Why this is a worthy battle is beyond me.

 

Thor all day, and because he beat out the Hulk who should have won it all

 

"Plot armor" is a nickname for a literary cliche' that most definitely does apply to Batman, as it does with many characters. It's just a writing convention to have characters survive or prevail over seemingly impossible circumstances through conveniences beyond that character's direct control.

 

When you're talking about a character who has been around since 1939 I tend to be a bit forgiving of "plot armor".

Also IMO his ability to be prepared for most any situation is part of the charm. No I'm not talking about just so happening to have shark repellent spray on your belt but I just mean when it turns out he knew/suspected something that ends up giving him an advantage. That's what makes him so awesome. He is almost always one step ahead, which makes up for the fact that he doesn't have "powers" in the traditional sense.

Batman is a handsome, @$$-kicking , super intelligent, billionaire baller. I can't believe he's only one vote ahead of some idiot who wears a helmet with wings on it.
