I'm querying the board to help me understand some of the more pressing concerns this offseason.

I have not kept up with everything. Offseason acquisitions and losses. Are there any internal changes (besides Bud Adams, of course) that need to be made.

Basically this thread is a sounding board. I know I'm asking a lot.

What are our strengths and weaknesses.

You might start by skimming the forum. Some of the bigger threads will hit a lot of info.

Biggest losses: CB Cortland Finnegan, DE/DT Jason Jones
Biggest gains: G Steve Hutchinson, DE/LB Kamerion Wimbley

There will be an open competition at QB entering training camp. Kenny Britt seems to be recovering nicely but time will tell. CJ is working out at BSP. Defensive line is the biggest question mark right now and probably the focus of an early draft pick.

Ruston Webster is now the GM. Michael Griffin has been franchised.

Strengths? Hard to say right now. We all thought the run game would be but it wasn't last season. I expect it to be much improved but it has to come a long way to be considered a strength.

Weaknesses? I would have to say DE. Morgan came on late but he's been far too inconsistent. The Titans have to do a better job generating a pass rush in '12.

The Titans could be improved in '12 and end up with a worse record. The schedule is tough early but I'm encouraged with what Locker might do and that CJ is probably going to be in the best shape of his life entering the season.

I keep hearing people talk about how our offensive line sucks and that we need to draft a lineman in the first round. Weren't we supposed to have a top 5 offensive line going into last year? Was last year a fluke or do we need to replace one piece (amano?) or do we need an entire overhaul?

    The two tackles are excellent.

    The interior line sucked hard.

We signed Hutchinson, so that should help. We need a center to ditch amano. Hopefully, we'll draft one next week.

So we need to replace Scott, Amano and Harris and keep Stewart and Roos at all costs.

Who are you hoping we draft? Who should we keep an eye on?

Oh make sure you take note of how much everyone loves Amano here! :D

The Titans obviously want to upgrade the center position. They've had a number visit but haven't hooked any. Harris will likely move over to right guard. I'd like to hear from the coaches why he would not be an option to move to C.

We'll replace Amano in the 3rd or 4th round, and have an open competition for the right guard.
