Was probably already posted, but I didn't feel like reading through the entire thread. I just saw on the NFL N ticker that Michael Silver is reporting Munchak may not last the season.

Comparing him to FISH doesn't help your argument much. Based on your "hall of fame" theory, I guess Matthews is one helluva OL coach. Funny how the Texans OL got better almost immediately after Matthews left...he's a Hall of Famer

Too bad they didn't mention who we may target. I have no idea. I smell Cutler though. That is going to happen.

Lovie Smith has already been contacted by the Texans as of this morning via NFL.com.

I don't care for Lovie. He's just another mediocre coach that will never be great. I would love to see him go to the Texans.

Jon Gruden will remain at ESPN

The Houston Texans would be interested in Jon Gruden as a candidate to fulfill owner Bob McNair's quest for an experienced NFL head coach to replace Gary Kubiak. But McNair shouldn't expect those feelings to be reciprocated.

Gruden will remain with ESPN through at least the 2014 season, the former Super Bowl-winning coach has confirmed.
"I'm just trying to do my job," Gruden said. "I'm not going to address every little rumor or supposed conversation that takes place, according to these so-called sources.
"There are a lot of good coaches out there available to coach these teams. I'm just hoping ESPN likes the the job I'm doing. That's my focus."

I am really pushing for the next hot college name to enter the NFL and spark this Titans team. Let him draft his own franchise QB and give us an identity ala Seattle, SF, Philly

I really like the idea of David Shaw.

He clearly helped Andrew Luck develop.
    He knows an NFL offense
He knows what a good qb looks like
He knows the enemy as well

I like the idea of David Shaw or Smith. Honestly I like the idea of anyone coaching other than Munch or someone who is currently part of the Titans.
