Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Colts need a big, run stuffing defensive tackle.

Albert Haynesworth is about to be available.

It's a marriage Colts fans know can't and won't happen. Still, many have allowed themselves to dream of the addition and the payback it would hand to the Titans, who've added three high-quality former Indy players in free agency in recent years: Nick Harper, David Thornton and Jake Scott.

The Colts were $2.844 million under the cap before they agreed on Wednesday to Kelvin Hayden's five-year, $43 million contract with $22 million guaranteed.

There is simply no way a team that doesn't chase many free agents is going to be a player for Haynesworth, who's seeking to become the NFL's highest paid player.

"We have to be realistic, too, in terms of what we're able to do in terms of salary-cap issues and things of that nature," coach Jim Caldwell said. "So we're always kind of fiddling with them, trying to see what we can do to improve our squad, seeing where we have room to do certain things. But it's also not fantasyland either."
