Talk about what could have been. Goes from being one of the most disruptive defense players in the NFL to one of the highest paid bums who was just a total disaster on the Redskins that lasted what 2 more years in the NFL? Kinda sad what everyone predicted about him came true after he made all that money. Wished he would have stayed with Titans at the time as our defense severely missed him and up until this year really missed that force in the middle. But who knows if he would have pulled the same tactics with us.

So heres to the good times you Andre Gurode skull stomping beast of a man! You were just a candle in the Titan's glorious wind!

Shanahan ripped him a new one. Glad we weren't the ones to pay him either, he wanted to bail from the NFL asap.

We lucked out not paying Haynesworth, but then came C.J. So in the end we got duped too.

Haynesworth is probably right about Shanahan, too. :)

Both sides can rip each other apart but at the end of the day Haynesworth got his money and that is always a victory for a player. Dan Snyder makes some poor decisions but that was brutal. I am just happy we got the most use of him and did not pay him!

Imagine how many people would kill to have that kind of athletic ability. Imagine all the people who work their asses off for years and years, and never scrap the surface of what Haynesworth could do. Hall of Fame ability wasted by a pathetic man.

Too much wind , not enough candle for my liking. Could have been immense but settled for his cash keeping him warm over his legend. A waste .....

While I think Haynesworth seems to be a POS of a person, I think it is kinda funny that he called Shanahan self-centered and Shanahan came back that the only reason someone wouldn't get along with him is if that person had major personal flaws.

I was duped. I bought the line Haynesworth gave about finishing as an all-pro in order to rehab his image hook, line, and sinker.

Now he'll just be remembered as the face stomper. I believe that is fitting.

"I don’t really care about the money. If I knew it was gonna be like that, I never would have went. I never would have went. I guarantee. Because my goal was to be a Hall of Famer and to be one of the greatest defensive tackles to play the game, not just to go and make money at Washington and in two years my career be over there. I mean, that’s not what I’m about. Yeah, I love to make money, but I can make money playing the game and not just some free agent bust or whatever."

It was never about Albert unless it was something good.
