These are TE stats since Week 1 of 2011 season:
Cook is #16 in receptions, #14 in yards, #17 in targets, 63% completed, #17 most utilized in the league (122 plays ran to him, #17 based a sheer # of plays he gets targeted, not on % of offensive snaps he is targeted)

But he is dead last in run attempts by a tight end in that time with 0 ... maybe that is where we aren't giving the ball to him at?

Know what you're talking about before ya challenge someone who does. :)

By the way, you were talking about 2011 stats. He is #19 in targets, #18 in receptions, and #19 in utilization, caught the ball 60.5% of the time.

Where is he not in the top 20?

No, it's true. He only had 82 targets last year!

you said he was one of the most targeted TE's in the league. How does being number 19 in targets make him that. HAHAHA GTFO!

81, which puts him at #19. Can you count your fingers and your toes? If so, you should know that is top 20.

And regardless YOU SAID HE WAS ONE OF THE MOST TARGETED TE'S IN THE LEAGUE. Being 19th or 17th in that category does not put you at the top. Thats below half!

Those are sheer numbers. I am talking % of teams offensive snaps, we are on par with other offenses with how often we target the TE. Of course all our receivers will have fewer targets compared to their peers, because we get fewer offensive plays. Last year, we were bottom 5 for offensive plays, he got a good % of our plays. Plenty of teams that had more snaps didn't target their TEs as much, so good luck going to other teams and expecting them to target the TE more than us.

In % of offensive plays going to him, not in a raw numbers. I put up the raw numbers because you were saying he wasn't a top 20 TE, and he was.

Sheer numbers is what matters most. Which is targets! Which means there were 18 other TE's who had more targets than he did. And I promise you there are not 18 better TE's in the league than him!
