If McCarthy was to come through on a blitz clean and knock Brady's helmet off all of you would be jumping out of your seats.

Because of Goodell, all of you would then be cussing because of the flags for hitting a Superstar too hard.

That's all the workings of Goodell. How quickly some of you forget.

If Vilma doesn't like his image, he could always go north to the CFL.

My only beef with Goodell is him adjusting the game to benefit his pockets. Leave it alone Goodell, game is perfect as is. Just go back to the 30 on kickoffs and we're good.

Nobody is complaining about Hockey. People watch it because of the FIGHTS and the HITS. Yet that game was left perfectly intact. How come football is all of a sudden being pussified?

I'm all for player safety to an EXTENT. But things have gotten out of control. When you have both offensive and defensive players criticizing the changes then you know you've got a problem. They are the ones at risk!

Player's Freedoms? WTF are you talking about! The guy who makes $8.50 an hour at the corner store could get fired if he gets arrested. Not an NFL player, he gets a paltry 4 week suspension. If I got on t.v. or radio and badmouthed my boss, I'm guessing I'd find an empty desk on monday. Not the NFL. These jackass players need to understand that they are EMPLOYEES.

Goodell has learned from the NBA and MLB... if you let the thug prima donna players run the asylum, the league suffers. I'm glad to have a league where someone is in charge.

Now the player safety thing... I don't think its gone too far yet... but its getting close. That is going to be a tough one though. If Goodell ignores it, it could be the death of the sport.
