The Titans sat a number of injured players in the preseason finale last Thursday. The group included cornerback Ryan Mouton (concussion), linebacker Zac Diles (hamstring), tackle Mike Otto (finger), defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks (knee) and defensive tackle Jurrell Casey (elbow).

But coach Mike Munchak said Monday that all those players, with the exception of Otto, will likely be ready to play against the Patriots on Sunday. Casey practiced Monday, Marks is likely to return to practice Wednesday and Mouton has been cleared by doctors to return to practice. Otto is probably another week away from returning.

One player who did play last Thursday – guard Leroy Harris – has been dealing with a nagging knee injury throughout the preseason. He said he’s been taking advantage of the extra days before the season opener to rest the knee.

“We’re just trying to strengthen it up,” Harris said. “That’s the key. We don’t want to have ups and downs where one day it’s good and one day’s bad.”
