1/3 of 360 owners are teens and kids. Yes. They very well could be and probably are careless. But again- the 360 shouldn't be as fragile as it is.

Microsoft wouldn't extend warranties if it was due to carelessness.

maybe a small percentage of users have inadvertantly damaged their units due to mis-use ..... but that wasn't my case at all

My unit was sitting alone, on it's own little stand, not in an entertainment center cabinet, horizontally, with no heat source of any kind near it, plenty of ventilation, no mods, with no more than 6 hours of gameplay at any one sitting - and it still got the RROD

it's been well documented that the 1st gen heatsinks were garbage
    that's why they've been revised
it's also why they're going to start using 65nm chips from now on

Read my posts entirely respond to them, please. There are plenty of companies that have warranties while having extremely faulty products. Check TV's, Computers, etc etc etc.

how many of them are losing money on a product then use another 1.9 billion with an extended warranty on it because it arbitrally breaks?

    I doubt it
I'd say 1/3 of 360 owners are 18 or older

I'd say 1/3 of Wii owners are teens and kids

wtf? I don't see anythign special about that
the only way you'd ever see it is from the side
    bad choice
kids,..... alway lay your 360 horizontally

    I like that
except at this point, I'd rather keep my 360 warranty intact
