That certainly helped sell him as a top WR, but there was so much more acrobatic catches too. I wish youtube was what it is today back in 2009. Nowadays theres sites dedicated to producing prospects college tapes. Not a ton of Nicks stuff out there to look back on.

Nope. We need to get younger and better. He is fitted more for a team in the playoffs. Not here. That would also take away from us drafting Cooper at 6 and I don't like that.

How many mediocre WRs can you fit on one team? Seems like we're trying our best to do that.

We love us some mediocre WRs. Always have.

That said, it's whatever at this point. Wright, Hunter, and Douglas is more or less all we have at the moment. And that's horrible.

If you get Nicks on another 1 year cheap deal, fine. Better than Hunter and Ford if not Douglas too. Could be a starter on our lousy WR squad.

Hopefully a pass. If they didn't already sign Douglas then maybeeee but still a skeptical maybe. Don't think Nicks has much left in the tank and even if he does - what would it matter on this rebuilding team? No sense, no point move on.

A 5th round WR in the draft would make a lot more sense then a gas-less veteran wasting a roster spot because he has a familiar name.

What a bust of a round for WRs. I remember when the Giants snagged Nicks right before we picked Britt. I was ticked. Now they both look like jokes.

I'd still rather of had Nicks, he atleast had a couple really good seasons. You can't say that for Kenny Britt.
