I'm surprised and proud that you haven't.
Scratch the proud part.
It's been did.
Poor guy just can't help himself.
Its a good topic to discuss
I mostly agree with JCB but have these thoughts:
Battle is now our 4th rb/fb.
Washington sticks if Greene's knee is still injured.
We will keep 8 OL unless we sneak a couple on the now 10 man PS especially since Spencer is out.
Wooten is on the bubble but offers S and CB, his ST play will be a factor.
Campbell is our ST gunner, but also on the bubble.
Guys who were helped tonight in their quest to make the team:
Wooten -- Ability to be a solid return guy and safety gives him a good chance to make the team
Klug -- I have been on him as someone who is too poor a fit for this scheme. He looked good in run support tonight which is his biggest AFI
Bonani -- Hit on a nice 51 yard FG
Mooney -- Had a beautiful tackle on special teams. He needs to play well on ST to make the team
Guys that had their chances of making the team hurt tonight:
Leon Washington -- Has been nothing special as a return guy. Was given a chance to show he can contribute with the first team O and did very little with it
Preston -- Bad drops
Campbell -- More penalties
Campbell is gone I think. He hasn't done squat this preseason
I watched the game, sort of a bad feed.
But what drops did Preston have? I saw one play were the ball was real high and the CB made a play. But I don't remember any drops?
I saw Mariani with a couple of drops.
Campbell hasn't had a great camp but the refs were picking on him tonight. Julio got away with a push off and they called it on Campbell. The 2nd flag was questionable too.
Either way though, he's definitely on the bubble.
