SUMMARY: With TEs Erron Kinney and Bo Scaife out with injuries, second-year TE Gregg Guenther is getting more opportunities to show his athletic ability. The 6-foot-8, 255 pounder is trying to make the most of the extra work. "It just gives me more of a chance to showcase my skills and show what I can do," Guenther said. "With Erron and Bo down, it's just me, Ben and J.P. (Petrowski). We have no choice. We're going to get a majority of the reps. There's enough work for all of us, and we can all use it to get ready for the season." OC Norm Chow thinks Guenther will only improve. "Gregg Guenther is a tremendous athlete, and he showed that last year when he came in at the last second as a free agent," said Chow. "He has the ability to make catches. He knows the offense and understands the offense. So he's a very important part of what we're doing." What do you think about this article? Post your comments below.
