    If you buy a new grill grate, coat it with olive oil or veggie oil before you use it the first time. Then, when you start it up each time, you can clean it and then rub it with a new coat of oil (on a paper towel works best for me). You won't have a problem with meat sticking anymore.

    Seasoning the grate depends on the type grate you have..

    Mine are cast iron. ive tried coating with olive oil etc... but once i flip the meat the olive oil will have burned off.

    Webber and other companies make a grill spray. It's probably no more than applying oil. But you have to do it before the grates are hot.
