He lost the ability to play, at what you call a high level, after his first couple of years.
And exactly what has Philadelphia and Buffalo done since then?
I think a bunch of GMs, coaches, and managers who have actually seen VY play recently know a fair bit more about his abilities than some random Titan fan who is partially living in the past.
Simply because they are going with "rising stock" doesn't mean a "flat stock" can't get the job done.
If you have a choice between Kevin Kolb and Vince Young, who would you go with?
I can't answer that, you know why? Because I have not seen either of them play recently. Picking a QB is more that watching how they play during a game.. you have to know how they practice, how their chemistry is with teammates, how their bodies are handling physically, how their throwing and accuracy has changed throughout the years.
As much as you THINK you know about VY, it's nothing compared to what all the coaches who have actually worked him out know. If he was worth a roster spot, they'd keep him. I hate it when fans think they know more than actual coaches and managers who do this professionally for a living.
Griff has been friends with VY for over a decade. Of course he is going to support his friend even of its not true
wow only 8 posts in, and in 2 of them you've shown how clueless you are.
VY sucks. that isn't just an opinion. it's a fact. how do we know it's a fact? ZERO teams want him.
When VY left he was tops in the league at his position. Whether based off of stats or wins.
Why didn't Andy Reid grab VY instead of trading for Smith?
