NFL Films Greg Cosell believes Ohio State RB Carlos Hyde could be an every down RB for Ken Whisenhunt in the new Titans offense. Link (fast forward to 16 minute mark)

C.J. out, Carlos Hyde in? Yes please.

Going RB in the first round goes against everything I believe, but all things considered, I could be on board with taking this drafts best RB in the 2nd round. The league just chucked out a whole bunch of compensatory picks pushing our 3rd pick (4th rounder) back too far to get the RB I want.

You guys high enough on Hyde to make him the Titans next RB?

That would be awesome. I don't think he'll be there though.

Carlos Hyde would make us forget about CJ so quickly it'd be amazing.

Me too. The guy would be a huge pick-up in the 2nd round.

Any other year but 2014 and this kid is a 1st round pick. Lucky us if he's there at 42.

Hyde is growing on me but I still think Mason will be the better pro. He reminds me of a more compact marshawn lynch

Hyde-McCluster would give us the Woodhead-Mathews feel that Whishenhunt had in San Deigo. I'd be fine with him in the 2nd even though I doubt he'll be there.

He has some baggage, so he should slip some.
