    HP good, Dell okay, Toshiba expensive.
    Acer good budget model, Alienware would look stupid being held by your grandmother.

    A tablet would be good, but beware low-priced ones; there's a lot of spec FAIL, and I think I read that Flash is still missing from them. Dunno, but research well before buying.
