Internet Explorer is what my grandmother calls the internet.

I had to convince her the the little fox symbol was the better internet and to click on that for Facebook instead.

Props for the fact she knows how to use a computer

I recently taught my 63 year old grandmother how to use a smart phone. Took a solid two weeks. She still doesn't understand texting though.

Old people are funny.

My grandmother writes her messages on paper first, before typing them in on her old school Nokia phone. But she has learned to use smileys.

You're grandmother is 63, are you like 12?

That's hilarious. My mom still refuses to "learn" how to text. Which I don't get. She knows how to type on a keyboard. And she knows how to use a cell phone. The transition shouldn't be that hard. If I'm with her and she gets a text she has me reply for her while she dictates.
