SUMMARY: 1. Indianapolis Colts (3-0) Last Week: 2ndBeing beaten soundly in time of possession and number of offensive plays still did not keep the Colts from winning their third game of the season. Part of this reason is that, although the Jaguars ran more plays, the Colts averaged more yards per offensive play and more importantly Peyton Manning average 6.3 yards per pass play to Leftwich’s measly 3.7. Since net pass yards per attempt are more highly correlated with wins than yards per carry, it is not hard to see how this advantage translated to a win.

We could be 2-1 right now and way up on the list if we executed better. We've lost two games by less than a touchdown, both of them in which we had an opportunity to have the last score.

no way we would be 2-1 right now. If the Jets kicker had made those 2 field goals and extra point the game wouldn't have even been close.

That's just a bogus statement. You are implying that if we would have executed that final drive better than the Jets would have also had to execute their field goals better.

Man, I feel like an angry typer today.:grrr:

Did anyone notice the 49ers had a GB logo?

This ranking is leaps and bounds over last week's one.
