Charger hype..??

The colts should be considered the top team without question and of those three at the top only they have a winning record against other top teams 2-1. The chrgers are 2-2 against the top teams.

Chargers lost to baltimore and KC and beat denver and the bengals. If they lost to baltimore then why are they rated ahead of them?

Many are making a big deal out of their denver victory but the colts also beat denver at denver and the very next week beat the patriots on the road.. . Could the chargers have beaten new england coming off that denver win?

Many of you hate the colts i know but be honest they have been one of the surprise teams in this league and have accomplished that 10-1 record without james, simon and most of the time without sanders. The colts might be the only team in this league who can handle new england now.

Whilst what you say is true the Colts have not been convincing in games they had been expected to win confortably. They gained respect for finding their running game against the Eagles but their defence is going to be a weak link in the playoffs.

Yes the Bolts lost vs the Ravens & Chiefs but not by large margins. They are also bedding in a 1st year QB in Rivers & have been missing 2 or 3 defensive starters on their current 5 game winning streak.

Those guys are coming back now & IMO they are a more complete team than the Colts.

If we had to choose between facing the Colts or the Bolts this weekend I would choose the Colts. They looked very ordinary against the Cowboys.

Hopefully we'll get to see them face off in the playoffs & really find out who's best.

Isn't that as good a reason as any to rate the colts higher? Manning has been to 6 pro bowls while rivers is a first year starter?

Talking about defensive injuries you know who started at SAM linebacker for the colts sunday night? Rocky boiman!

The chargers are 9th in total defense the colts 13th. The chargers are 11th in scoring defense while the colts are 15th. I don't see a huge difference there. When sanders comes back there won't be one. Don't confuse the colts defense with the titans. They have struggled against the run but are 3rd against the pass.

Remember also that the colts have the best record and if the playoffs were today san diego and that 1st year starting QB would be on the road.

Who have the chargers beat? Raiders twice, titans w collins at QB and the 49ers. They also beat the steelers and we all know they are not very good this year. I'm not impressed..
