Goodell might propose shortening draft time limits...

    Fisher advocated shortening the first round time to 10 minutes on the radio a few weeks ago. I hope that happens.

    They definitely need to. It's not rocket science. You get months and months to figure out who you want to pick. If he's on the board, go up there and announce it rather than screwing around for forever just wasting everyone's time.

    Exactly. If you don't know who the hell you're going to take after numerous months of scouting and workouts, you don't need to have a job in the NFL.

    I'm not a big fan of shortening the time per pick in the first round. Let the teams have a few minutes to make trades. Who cares if the draft has fan appeal when the draft is so critical especially in the first round.
     
  8. I'd say just make the 1st round 10 minutes and that's that. No need to change the rest...

    Yes, shorten the 1st round. I'd be fine with the 1st day or round on Friday night. This year was a bit too agonizing to try to watch and keep up with.

    You know, it's bad when I can get off work late on draft day missing 4 hours of the draft, and then have to wait to watch my team pick @ number 19.
