Goodell is as much to blame for the bounty scandal as anyone

    I think the NFLPA requested that the league not take any action against players until the NFLPA had concluded their own investigation. I highly doubt the NFLPA's findings will alter the league's disposition on the most prominent offenders. I also suspect that the league brokered "immunity" deals for details/affadavits with some players to get the evidence they needed to bust this system.

    No doubt. I also think that DeMaurice Smith struck a sneaky deal with Goodell not to hand out the players punishment until Smith got his second term. :suspect:
